Two For Tuesday: Planner Goodies

I am in love with my new planner goodies for Fall:

1.  Printable inserts from Annie Plans Printables:

I switched to a B6 Travelers Notebook earlier this year and I have been thrilled with my ability to customize my planner.  I use Annie Plans' Month/Weekly/Daily 3 Column Timed Printable Inserts.  They are incredibly easy to print and assemble (my mad bookbinding skills are getting some use again).  I have created my own headers for the different sections (in colors to match my fall scheme) and I print them out on 4"x6" labels (found at the dollar store). I also love her Bill Tracker, Event/Project Planner, and Monthly Calendar.

Not a fan of the B6 size?  No worries!  She has printables in micro, passport, pocket, A6, personal, standard, cashier, and B6 slim!

2. NoniesCustomCreation Planner Clips:

As each season approaches, I start picking end papers for my printables and then reach out to Roberta at NoniesCustomCreation on Etsy.  Her planner clips are adorable and she has tons of them!  I normally have her customize a "Goals" clip and a "Today" clip in my current color scheme and then pick a few extra to make me happy.  Check these out:  Dole Whip for my upcoming Disney trip, Pilgrim hat (order now to have it in time!), and pumpkin spice latte!

Christmas Planner: Gifts Section (with free printables!)

I've uploaded the next section of my printable Christmas planner -- Gifts!  I use this section to plan out what I'm going to give everyone, budget my purchases and make sure everything is wrapped and sent on time.  I'm hoping to air a live Periscope this Friday to show you my planner and how I use it -- I hope you'll watch!

As a reminder, these printables are designed for a Classic-sized planner - that's a 5.5" wide x 8.5" high page.  You'll need to cut your paper to half sheet size and adjust your printer accordingly.

Christmas Planner: To Do Section (with free printables!)

With just 86 days left until Christmas (86 DAYS PEOPLE!!!), I've set my Disney planner to the side in order to prep this year's Christmas planner.  In the past I have taught Christmas planner classes and sold kits to make your own, but this year I've decided to share my planner pages with you as I print my own. (Go all the way to the bottom of this post to find the printables!)

I use an old Franklin-Covey classic size red binder for my Christmas planner.  Classic size pages are half of a normal sheet of paper - 5.5" x 8.5".  I find it to be the ideal size as I can just cut my paper in half and feed it through my printer without throwing anything away.Click here to see a similar binder on Amazon, I found mine through E-Bay for a fraction of the price.

My planner dividers are from a retired (read: really old) line from Basic Grey called Blitzen.  I bought a ton of the stuff when I was teaching regularly and now you will see it over and over again because I have so damn much of it. 

To make the tabs, I printed them on cardstock and then laminated the front side only.  I used my favorite tab punch (McGill 3" tab) to punch them out and then folded them in half before gluing them to my dividers. (here's something similar)

I have eight divided sections: 

• To Do -- calendars, to do lists and memory keeping
• Gifts - who gets what, what is on order and Black Friday deals
• Stuffed - stocking stuffers
• Advent - advent calendar stuffers and Elf on the Shelf ideas
• Merry - movies, tv, books and music, holiday events, crafting ideas and Christmas party info
• Cards - who did I send cards to and who did I get them from?
• Décor - indoor and outdoor decorations
• Eats - yummy holiday treats

As I work on my book this week, I'll be adding each printable section.  Because the "to do" section is the busiest, it is a whopping 38 pages -- I promise the other sections are smaller.  I print mine back to back (and the margins are set to support that).  Remember to print on a half-sheet size -- 5.5" wide by 8.5" high.
