The past four weeks have brought us the joys of:
- six trips to the pediatrician
- two visits to the hospital for Baby A's pneumonia and RSV tests/x-rays
- one visit to my doctor for strep throat
- one night of tepid baths to bring down a 104.2 degree fever in Baby G.
- one visit to the ER for pinto beans up the baby's nose (seriously. pinto beans up the nose.)
- one whooping cough scare (quarintine the baby! boil the sheets! call all of your friends and warn them that they have been exposed! oh, no... our bad... it's not whooping cough.)
- enough prescriptions to take care of a third world country
My "one little word" for the year was wellness. Yeah. That's going well so far.
Ah, Drugs........ Remember when we thought they were mysterious instead of just expensive?
I hope you are keeping a "blackmail" scrapbook with the beans-up-the-nose, the markers on the face, and the crayons in the nose. This is blackmail gold!
May you and yours be visited by the angel of health and healing. :)

Oh Korie, I feel so bad for you - and so guilty at laughing at your blog post. It's good that you're able to handle all of this AND keep your sense of humor! Hang in there!

Ohhhhhh. We are thinking of you. So far only the mom around here has been sick. I will send good wellness vibes your way. We did the RSV routine with our daughter Libby and it was no fun. Each winter I worry if we will need to do breathing treatments...installed a new UV filter system on the heater and so far so good. ~Kelly
