I'm thrilled to join in on the 4th round of the Sizzix ScoreBoard Blog Hop. This week's featured die is the Notebook Pocket. Soooo many possibilities.... I only had half an hour to create tonight, but these dies are so incredibly easy to work with that it took me no time at all to whip this up:
The die is meant to cut matboard, thus allowing you to make a sturdier project. Perfect for a refrigerator notepad! I live in a house full of paper, yet I can never seem to find a scrap when I'm trying to scribble down a message when I'm on the phone. I've bought dozens of magnetic backed paper pads, but they all seem to tear and fall apart on my refrigerator. This beauty is now on the front of the fridge & I'll always have a piece of paper when I need it!
The die automatically scores your matboard, allowing you to fold it into shape quite easily.
I covered the front of the box with Basic Grey "Dasher" paper, and then cut a different pattern of "Dasher" using Sizzix' Top Note die (available only through Stampin' Up!). I cut the die cut into two pieces and then corseted them together using eyelets and ribbon:
There are endless possibilities for this die. To check out additional ideas, please continue on the blog hop:

This is brilliant! I, too, am always losing the notepads by the phone. Love your use of the Top Note die - might have to get that one!
