There. I'm all caught up for 2008. It kinda makes me not want to go anywhere or do anything for a bit so that I can stay caught up!
This is the final page of our National Park/Letterboxing/Covered Bridge excursion from last weekend. If you live in the Metro D.C. area, head on up to Frederick County, Maryland and stop at the Visitor's Center for a map of the three covered bridges (or click here for the driving tour information). We really enjoyed the tour. If you have kids, there is a park at the second bridge with playground equipment. The kids can get out of the car & play for a bit. I think we'll go again in the Fall, when the leaves are vibrant and the skies have that autumnal yellow hue. It should make for great pictures.
Here are the specs: The patterned paper is Daisy D's, the cardstock is Bazzill, the photo corners were plain paper that I inked with Colorbox Chalk inks, the rub-ons are Creative Cafe, the chipboard frames are Maya Road, the chipboard arrow is Deluxe Designs & the die cut letters are from my Wishblade. The font for the die cut title is Fontleroy Brown.
Tomorrow, I hope to post pics from my Last Train class and work on my last 4 layouts of the month. I can't believe that I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!
Great job! I love the combination of papers and colors that you used.
