Woo hoo! My Parisian Faux Postage Cards can be found on page 46 of the recently published Stampers' Sampler Take Ten by Somerset Studio (Winter 2007). This was my first attempt at submitting my work for publication, so I was pretty excited to hear that my cards made it into print! I had forgotten that I sent the cards back in August. Imagine my surprise when I received an e-mail from friend/student Susan M. letting me know that she saw them in the magazine. I scurried out the door first thing this morning to hit Angela's Happy Stamper to buy my own copy.
If you're interested in submitting your own, get their submission guidelines by clicking here. Next time you're making cards, make an extra & toss it in the mail to them. Pretty easy, no?
My friend/student Marlynn L. has been published in a couple of issues of Stampers' Sampler & she was thrilled to find her beautifully stamped envelope featured in the "Letters to the Editor" section of this month's issue. Congrats Marlynn!
AND both Melinda M. and Laura F. of Angela's Happy Stamper had cards published in the Winter issue of Take Ten. The D.C. area is rockin'!
(Amended 12/1/06) AND my student Wendy R. (another regularly published stamper) is also in the Winter issue of Take Ten. Now the D.C. area is just showing off!
