Congrats to Jen H. for all of her hard work in October! She'll be receiving a goody box in the mail, chock full of Maya Road chipboard, stamps & other toys: I've boxed up your new toys and they'll ship out tomorrow Jen. I'm so happy you won!!
I have a ton of completed layouts that need to be scanned & stitched, but I've been enjoying the Fall weather so much that I just don't feel like sitting down at my computer. However, I was able to push this one out today:
The specs: The paper is Carolee's Creations & Bazzill, the photo corners are punched using an EK Success punch, the chipboard title is American Crafts, the font is Lansbury and snowflake was made using EK Success punches & a brad.
Now that all orders have shipped, I'm playing a little catch up here...
Before I started working on this layout, I had to leave a message for my friend Jenny, letting her know that I just spent twenty minutes looking for patterned papers because she had the nerve to dress her girls in vibrant plaid dresses. Next year I might have to put a dress code on the invitations....
The papers are all My Mind's Eye, the chipboard is Maya Road, the punch is Threading Water by Fiskars, the paint is Making Memories & Plaid and the font is Tahoma.
The hidden journaling tucks behind the 2nd page of this layout. I also have the original card my friend Andrea gave me tucked behind the 1st page of this layout.
Here are the specs: the cardstock is Bazzill and DCWV, the patterned paper is My Minds Eye (I must be going through a MME phase right now), the punch is Fiskars Threading Water, the stamp in Technique Tuesday "Skin Deep", the title was die cut on my Wishblade using the Duality font and the inks were Ancient Page Cardinal & Chocolate (mixed together).
Whew, now I'm all emotional. Pregnant and emotional. Great.... I'm off to eat something....
Sooo... I started this Layout A Day Challenge with the hopes of completing my Disneyworld 2007 vacation album and I have yet to scrap a single Disney layout. I think I'm going to have to shelve the vacation album in favor of my Baby G. layouts & here's why: In approximately 18 to 19 short weeks, another child of mine will come into this world and I have yet to scrap Baby #1's birth & firsts. Well, shit.
I've mentioned before that I only scrap the pretty pictures. I have eight 3-up albums stuffed with pictures of Baby #1 that have yet to be scrapped. I know I'll never finish it, but I need to get some of the big stuff down on paper -- pretty or not. This is the beginning -- her birth.
Here are the specs: The cardstock is Bazzill, the patterned paper is My Minds Eye, the chipboard alphabet is Basic Grey "hip", the chipboard paisley letters are Deluxe Designs, the doily punch is Martha Stewart Crafts, and the paint is Making Memories.
The sketch is from Becky Fleck's "Page Maps" book. A must-have in my opinion!
There's so much blocked out of this layout that it is almost ridiculous to post it, but I had to prove I'd done Day #8.
Here are the specs: The paper is 29th Street Market by My Minds Eye, the rub-on title is Making Memories Circus letters, the punch is by McGill, the buttons are Foofala, the chipboard flowers are Deluxe Designs and the paint is Making Memories.
Here are the specs: The cardstock is Bazzill, the patterned paper is Basic Grey "Archaic", the chipboard alphabet is Maya Road, the tab punch is McGill, the font is CK Journaling and the paint is Making Memories.
Here are the specs: The paper is 29th Street Market by My Minds Eye, the circles were cut using my EK Success circle cutter, the chipboard alphabet is by Maya Road (you'll recognize it from my other layouts...) and the font is CK Journaling.
Whew! All caught up. Now, to get started on tomorrow's layout!
The specs are: Kaiser Craft (quite possibly my new favorite paper line) patterned paper, Bazzill cardstock, American Crafts Thickers chipboard alphabet, Making Memories paint, Martha Stewart cornice border punch and Basic Grey chipboard heart.
