The Halloween decorations are slowly going up around our house. The "Dead and Breakfast" sign is up... I am painting bottles for my Halloween apothecary (pics to come)... and the kids lunch boxes are filled with biohazards...
My fifth and first graders absolutely love their seasonal lunch boxes. An Eastertime lunch might come entirely packaged in plastic Easter eggs. Everything in the lunch box is green on St. Patrick's day. Valentine's sandwiches are cut into hearts and strawberries are speared with a heart toothpick. Now that we've crossed into October, I'm having a blast boxing up their lunches:
