Additional Nancy Drew Date Books Added To Etsy

I'm still receiving requests for additional Nancy Drew Date Books for 2012, so I've added a few new kits to the store.  For those of you that are (ahem...) running late in getting organized, you'll be thrilled to know that these Date Books include pages through January 2013, so you'll still get to enjoy Nancy for a year!

The Secret Of The Wooden Lady kit includes beautiful green and dusty mauve papers & embellishments.  I love the ominous water on the front cover -- great for the boating enthusiast or anyone who loves the water!  You'll find it here.

The Invisible Intruder kit offers up sky blue and espresso brown papers & embellishments.  The cover is classic Nancy Drew... perplexed Nancy and creepy background.  Fantastic!  You'll find it here.

New Years Eve is around the corner and I'm working to fill custom Nancy Drew Date Book orders.  I have only been able to add one more kit to my store this week, but it's a classic!:

Nancy Drew Date Book (and Refills!) Available On Etsy

My poor 2 year-old is sick (again) this week, so I'm falling farther and farther behind in getting my Nancy Drew Date Books out this year.  I was able to whip this one up this week and it is a fantastic cover!  I love the old school feel of the linen cover. 

For those of you who have purchased the Nancy Drew Date Books in the past and are looking to refill your book for 2012, refills are now available as well.  If you've made the book for a friend, the instructions are easy enough to follow along that they should be able to refill their own book -- easy peasy!

I'm still clearing out boxes from the storage area of my basement.  I added a couple additional stash sale listings for October (including a ton of 7 Gypsies items) and then discounted all remaining stash sales by 1/2 price.  You'll find all the stash sales here.

The first book in the series, The Secret Of The Old Clock, is the most readily available and the cover that seems to make everyone I know sigh and remember a time when you could spend the whole day reading.  Everyone had this book and it has always been a popular cover in my kits.  You'll find it here.

 
The Mystery at the Ski Jump is a great cover for anyone who loves the snow and skiing.  The primary colors and a preppy plaid spine ribbon make this a great gift.  I had one of these covers in a kit last year and it flew off the shelves.  You'll find it here.

I am hoping to finish up my new Be Merry Holiday Planner kit before I head off for Disney World in a couple of weeks.  More Nancy Drew kits will be on their way once I get back.  I think I enjoy making the kit as much as people love having the planner!

Nancy Drew Date Books For 2012 Now Available

My most popular kit, the Nancy Drew Date Book, is now available for 2012!  These make amazing gifts for moms, sisters, teachers, girlfriends and avid Nancy Drew fans. I've listened to your requests and I'm producing them earlier this year so that you can get started on your holiday gift making. The first two kits are:

 
The Scarlet Slipper Mystery is the first kit I've made using this cover. I love the deep turquoise of the vintage cover and I added turquoise & deep brown papers & embellishments. Lovely!

New Products Added To Etsy (Used Stamps & Re-Stock of Sand Bucket Books)

I recently finished up another round of blank sand bucket books and re-stocked my "Seaside Memories" kits.  You'll find them both in my Etsy shop.  In addition, I've added a couple of listings for rubber stamp lots.  As I'm cleaning out my storage room in my basement, I'm discovering a ton of stamps from past classes.  I have more than I can use (and in many cases, duplicates of stamps I already own).  I'm selling them off at rock bottom prices.  Have at it!  (More, including Stampin' Up!, will be added as I have time to scan in the stamps).

I've been digging further & further into my storage space and I'm discovering more goodies to clear out in my Etsy "stash sales".  I just found a ton of Maya Road items and I'm clearing them out!

Additionally, I found one (just one!) more paper cake.  My vendor is no longer in business, so this is my last one.  So sad!

New "Seasons" Book In Etsy Store

Cooler temperatures this week, combined with the kids going back to school, have made me want to pull out my trusty "Seasons" planner.  And, in turn, this makes me want to make a "Seasons" planner to share with someone else.

I often get e-mails from super-sweet readers, commenting on the wonderful memories that I'm making for my children.  In truth, I am only able to do things like back-to-school dinners, and Spring tea parties and week-long park hops because I plan them out one season at a time.

At the beginning of each season, hubby and I sit down with the kids and plan out all of the fun things we want to do during that season.  In looking back at previous Fall entries in my "Seasons" book, we planned to go to the Renaissance Fair, go on a hay ride, run through a corn maze, throw a S'mores party with our neighbors and hike in the Fall leaves.  Everyone gets to add something to the list.  Then we pull out the calendar and schedule those things in.  If you don't plan for it, it will never happen.

That being said, I only churn out one or two "Seasons" books each year for my Etsy store.  They are chock full of planning pages to allow you to prepare for a wonderful year.  My most recent book features soft blues, greens and silver.  It's soothing and serene -- perfect for any season!  Click here to take a look!
