My currant bush is overflowing with little red currants. Does anybody have a good recipe using currants? I grew up in the Southwest and had never tasted a currant until we planted this bush a few years ago. I have no idea what to do with these little things. Help?
I've always had an "Everything Book" -- a place to keep everything I pull out of magazines and print off of the web. Sometimes my "Everything Book" was a three ring binder, filled with page protectors and punched out articles. Useful, but not pretty. Sometimes it was a blank journal purchased at Barnes & Noble and filled with pictures I've clipped. Pretty, but not useful. It was too bulky and the spine would eventually split.
Recently I came up with a solution for this... Meet my brand spankin' new "Everything Book":
Form meets function. This go 'round I used Rubicoil binding, so my pages lay flat when I open it. Muuuuuuuch better.
Once the book is full, I can clip the ribbons on the spine and put a whole new bound core back in. I love it!!
I've carried this with me to a couple of classes lately & people have asked if I could make them one. Although I don't have time to make them for each person, I know that not everyone has access to a Rubicoil to do it themselves. If you want to buy a kit (you'll have to provide your own cover papers), head on over to my Etsy store.
I also just added my Nancy Drew Date Book kits to my Etsy store as well!
My "Paper Slut" bling T-shirt was recently listed in an Etsy Treasury and you totally have to check it out. Not so much for my shirt, but because they are some really funny artists out there. Click here to see. I NEED a set of "You Make Me All Happy And Shit" cards.
Note: The link expires on Monday, so head on over there quickly!
