I've taken a break this evening from boxing class kits for shipment to make myself a couple more cards for my Do It/Did It Rolodex.
My friend Jenny used to attend Pow Wows all the time. We've made a pact to take our daughters to a weekend Pow Wow sometime in the next year. Things keep coming up & we haven't been able to make it so far this year. Hold me to it Jenny! (BTW - I used a feather instead of a ribbon. It looks fan-frickin-tastic when I spin my rolodex!)
I heard about this restaurant on the Paula Deen show. She was making Gussie's Fried Chicken with Pecan-Honey Glaze. Apparently, it is a favorite at the Pirate's House restaurant in Savannah, Georgia. My interest was piqued by a description of the restaurant -- an old gathering hole for pirates since 1755. Pirates? Savannah? Fried Chicken? I'm all over it!! I actually made reservations to have dinner there next month. We're driving down to Disneyworld & stopping in Savannah for the night. I'll be able to finally tuck one of my "Do It" cards behind my "Did It" tab.
