When can I register?
Registration opens on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 12:00 noon EST. Students registering for 2 or more classes will also be able to sign up for a "crop seat" (see below).
I will be previewing the classes the week before, giving students time to select their classes before registration opens. In order to fit in all of the offered classes and give everyone an opportunity to take classes this year, classes will be offered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Classes will also run simultaneously, so you may need to choose between classes. If certain classes sell out, I may add additional times for those classes.
What is a crop seat? How do I get one?
A good chunk of our conference room will be taken up by tables & chairs that can be reserved by attendees for a $50 fee. Each "crop seat" offers 1/2 of a covered 6 foot table, a padded chair, a shared trash can, and access to me (when I'm not teaching).
Purchasing a "crop seat" gives students the opportunity to work when they are not in class. Students can finish up their class projects and work at their own speed. They will also have a place to leave their stuff when running off for meals & massages.
All students taking 2 or more classes may purchase a crop seat (as long as space is available). On May 1st, all remaining crop seats will be available for purchase by non-students & students only taking one class.
When is the crop room available?
2 p.m. to midnight Friday
7:30 a.m. to midnight Saturday
7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday
How much is a crop seat?
$50 per person for the full weekend.
Can I sign up for crop seat if I am not taking classes?
Students taking two or more classes will get first shot at the crop seats. On May 1, 2010 all unreserved seats will be available to non-students and students only taking one class.
Can I shop the Flea Market if I'm not taking classes or participating in the crop?
Of course!! The Flea Market will be stocked with some of the hot new products that debuted at CHA Winter. Plus, I'll have additional class kits available & I've been hitting up local estate sales/flea markets looking for new ephemera & embellishments to add to the store.
What is the cancellation policy?
All classes may be cancelled up until August 1, 2010 with a fee of $5.00 per class.
After August 1, 2010 students who need to cancel may have their class kits shipped to them for $8.50 (for all classes, not per class). No refunds will be given after August 1, 2010.
