Those of you arriving early may want to enjoy high tea at the Hillbrook Inn on Friday, August 27th. This European style country house hotel is breathtaking both inside & out. The grounds are gorgeous with colorful gardens, a duck pond and a meandering stream. Inside, the hotel is elaborately decorated with beautiful paintings, rich woods and lovely antiques.
High tea is served to groups of six or more from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Enjoy five courses of savories and sweets as you gossip with the girls. Reservations are required. Please note that I will assist my guests with their reservations, but I will not be attending the tea myself (what with a whole event to run & all.....). The tea is $35/person (plus tax & gratuity), payable to the Hillbrook Inn. I will have directions ready for the attendees, as you will be driving yourselves.
