Paris is the city of pocket gardens and overflowing window boxes. On a given summer afternoon, you might find yourself curled up with a good book au jardin du Luxembourg or luxuriating in the grand jardin des Tuileries. Better yet, take tea in the jardin du Musee Rodin, surrounded by fabulous art!
But whether your Summer in Paris is alongside the river in Harpers Ferry or boating on the Seine, one thing is certain... the Tiara de l'ete Jardin will always be appropriate. Women of confidence and style have come to learn that the right tiara is timeless. Each time you glimpse it across the room (or sneak it on for your bubble bath), you will recapture the allure of the summer gardens of Paris.
This is a fun class for all levels.
Students must bring: (edited 4/18/10 to add class supplies) small rounded paintbrush, 1/8" red line (aka Terrifically Tacky Tape) (1/4" will do in a pinch!), 1 roll green floral tape, bone folder
Students may want to bring: (edited 4/18/10 to add optional class supplies) Twinkling H2Os, wire cutters, jewelry pliers, Marvy circle scallop punch (the blue one!), hot glue gun and a glass mannequin head (Pier 1 sells glass heads which are lovely to use as a display piece for your tiara, but it is also useful while assembling it -- they cost approximately $20).
Please note that there is such a wide variety of materials to use on your tiara, that your finished project may differ from the sample (or from any one else's in class!). Unique is good!
