Enjoy Lewis Carroll's literary classic as a piece of handmade jewelry. In this three hour class, students will learn how to make Scrabble tile pendants, bead fancy head pins to make their own charms & make a bracelet using chain metal links, jump rings and toggle clasps. The final product will include beautiful pendants featuring the gorgeous illustrations from Sir John Tenniel, silver-toned charms (including Alice & the White Rabbit!), and blue/green/yellow beads. Students will be able to choose their favorite illustrations from dozens, giving them the opportunity to make their bracelet unique. Your bracelet will be measured to your wrist, so there is no need to worry about special sizes.
Students must bring: Round Nose Pliers AND Flat Nose Pliers (NOTE: Michaels sells a cheap 6-piece "Jewelry Tool Set" by Bead Landing -- look for purple handles -- use a coupon!), Ranger Glossy Accents, X-Acto Knife, Cutting Mat & Scissors.
