Maripat and Louise have been crafting since childhood. They dabble in scrapbooking, quilting, rubber stamping and assorted fun projects. Maripat had her own floral business for several years and currently teaches art classes to groups of home schoolers. They were inspired to create tiaras after reading the book Crowns and Tiaras by Kerri Judd and Danyel Montecinos.
These sisters wowed me with the tiaras they made at a recent getaway crop I attended. I begged them to come share their skills at my 2010 "Summer in Paris" retreat. The Parisian-themed "Tiara de l'ete Jardin" they plan to teach at the retreat is dazzling. I am hoping to have time to take the class myself!
