My hubby painted an old desk a yummy vintage pink. It is now my computer desk in my studio. Beeeeautiful!
I love, love, love this piece. I bought it for $20 when Cami's Paperie in Purcellville, VA closed. The drawers hold my Sizzix dies, punches, Wishblade, Super Carl Cutter, Scor-It, Light Box, Paints, Foam Stamps, Ribbons, Adhesives, Colored Pencils, Paints and much more! I am trying to leave the top clear as a work surface so that I can pull a tool out of the drawer, use it, then put it back. Heaven!
I stole this idea from the January 2007 BH&G Scrapbooks Etc. What a way to dress up my vertical Cropper Hopper paper storage! Just a circle punch & metal rimmed tags & you're ready to go. Now I can tell which colors or themes are in the folders. I love it!
I know that fibers aren't as hot as they used to be, but I still love 'em! In the past, I've organized them in big beautiful jars (too much of a hassle to get them out) and one big rubbermaid box (what a nightmare that was!).
I've spent the past two weeks spooling each of the color strands or color groups onto embroidery thread cards and storing them in bead boxes. I have three boxes full and they fit perfectly in one of my Accesorizer Cubes (with a shelf). Now I can take them to crops with me!
I painted an old easel aqua (one of my studio colors), then padded a corkboard frame with a red/white heart fabric. Now I can pin up inspirational photos & ideas.
Every artist needs a pair of gloves to use when working with icky things. I love these dollar store finds!
I have an entire shelf dedicated to my class samples. It's getting so overwhelming that I think it is time to clear some of them out on Etsy.
I love the pink/red/white candy corn from the Pennsylvania Dutch Market in Baltimore. My friend Suni keeps me well stocked!
I've been working hard on my studio. For the full article, click here.
